The 6 Pillars of Health and Wellbeing
Many practitioners have their own ideas about what constitutes good health based on their experience and their field of expertise and of course I have my own.
As a wellbeing coach, a life-healing workshop leader and also a nutritional therapist I like to look at a person as a whole but recognise that there are distinct areas or pillars which I like to look at with clients that I consider impact their health.
Here at Nurture Nourish I look at health in terms of 6 pillars or areas and these are:
Sleep, nutrition, relaxation, exercise, purpose and community.
Over the next few weeks I will be looking at these different areas in turn and thinking about how they affect our health and how if need be, we can create more for ourselves. So look out for a new blog post about sleep over the next few days.
Starting in September of this year, 2018, I will be starting a club called ‘Nurture Me’ where people are invited to come together for 2 hours. There will be a different theme each week but it will very much relate to the 6 pillars and how to improve and maintain physical and emotional health and wellbeing. We will be sharing brilliant self-care tips and tools, setting achievable goals for ourselves and it will also be a real opportunity to get more out of life and share ideas in a friendly and supportive group. I’m so excited about being able to offer this and simply can not wait to start! I hope you’ll be able to join me?
